Our first residents’ meeting of the summer, at the Social Centre in Codford, gave attendees the chance to share their views on the way we manage their estates and be brought up to date on our latest news.
Operations Director Belinda Eastland, who demonstrated the residents’ portal on our website and gave some feedback on the excellent results of our tenant satisfaction survey last autumn, said: “It was a good turn out and a very lively meeting, which we all enjoyed.”
There was plenty of feedback from residents about repairs and maintenance and when Asset Management Officer Sarah Occleshaw asked them if they feel safe in their homes there was an overwhelmingly positive response.
Maintenance Manager Darrel Smith reported on the numbers of repairs and maintenance jobs we completed over the last year and gave an update on priorities for the coming months.
As usual there was a prize draw for those who attended and Danielle Jones of Cherry Orchard went home with a shopping voucher. Mrs Nash, also of Cherry Orchard, won a gardening voucher in the draw for those who had used the portal since the invitations went out for the meeting.
Our next residents’ meetings are on July 30 at the Village Hall, Kilmersdon, and on September 5 at Sally Pussey’s Inn, Royal Wootton Bassett.
